Himachal's treks start from Manali, Kasol and Dharamshala — overnight by Volvo from Delhi. Expect alpine lakes above Manali (Bhrigu, Beas Kund), high passes like Hampta and Sar Pass, the hot springs at Kheerganga, and the Dhauladhar ridge above McLeodganj. Summer and autumn are the main seasons; the high passes shut with snow from November.
