Joining a group trip: common questions
What is a stranger group trip?
A fixed-departure trip you book on your own (or with a friend) and travel with a group of other travellers — sharing transport, stays and the experience, with a trip captain or trek leader.
Is it safe to join on my own, especially for women?
Every trip has a leader with first-aid training and a first-aid kit, and treks have oximeter checks morning and evening. Some departures run as women-only batches, and each trip page shows the batch type and the group's mix before you pay — ask us about rooming when you book.
Who else will be in my group?
Before you pay, each departure shows how many travellers have confirmed and, once there are enough, the mix — women and men, solo travellers and the most common age group. Names are never shown.
What's included?
Stays, the meals listed, travel during the trip, the leader and the plan — each trip page lists exactly what's in and what's not.
How do I join?
Pick a departure and tap Join this batch, or send an enquiry with your dates. You pay only after the plan and price are confirmed in writing.
