About Dharamshala
Dharamshala and McLeodganj sit on a shelf below the Dhauladhar range, close enough that the mountains fill the window. It is the seat of the Tibetan community in exile, which gives the town its monasteries, momo kitchens and quiet mornings, and the Triund ridge above it is one of the easiest ways for a first-timer to sleep at altitude. It is also one of the better places in India to work remotely for a week.

- How to reach
- Gaggal (Kangra) airport is about 15 km away with limited flights; Pathankot is the nearest major railhead (about 3 hrs), and overnight buses run from Delhi (about 12 hrs).
