Terai grassland and sal forest on the Nepal border, known for swamp deer, rhinos and tigers. Open roughly November to June. Sightings are never guaranteed. Zones, permits and closure dates are set by the forest department (core zones of most tiger reserves close for the monsoon, roughly July–September); we book against the official quota and confirm before you pay.
