About Munnar
Munnar is tea country at its most photogenic: rolling slopes clipped flat and green, with shola forest in the folds and Anamudi, the highest peak in south India, above it. Eravikulam National Park protects the Nilgiri tahr and, once every twelve years or so, the neelakurinji bloom. It pairs naturally with the Alleppey backwaters, which is why most people do both.
