About Khajuraho
Khajuraho's temples are the finest surviving Chandela work in India, and a UNESCO World Heritage site — but the sculptures people come to photograph are a small part of what is there. The western group at sunrise, the quieter eastern and southern groups, Raneh Falls' pink granite canyon and Panna's tiger reserve an hour away make this a proper three- or four-day stop rather than a half-day halt.

- How to reach
- Khajuraho has a small airport with seasonal flights and a railway station with connections to Delhi and Varanasi. Jhansi is about 4.5 hrs by road.
